Putting an Ubiquiti device into reset mode

Using a !! PoE remote reset dongle:

1. Plug the ethernet cable into the device but not into !! PoE remote reset dongle. It doesn't matter where the LAN port is connected to right now.
2. Hold down the button on the !! PoE remote reset dongle before pluggin in the device.
3. Continue holding down the button on the !! PoE remote reset dongle reset device until the top 4 lights on the device flash in an alternating pattern of 1 & 3 and 2 & 4.
4. Release the button, the device is now in flashing mode.

Alternatively, you can press and hold the reset pin on the device until the top 4 lights start flashing in an alternating pattern of 1 & 3 and 2 & 4.
